Workshop Clubs ( In-Person )

(In-person) Mechatronics-Robotics: Grades JK- 1, 2-5, 6-8
Movement and Control: In this club everything moves and must be controlled. Projects will involve Lego® model building with gears, beams, motors , and sensors and programming. Projects ideas are from a variety of real world areas such as F1 racing, amusement parks, space exploration etc and more.

 

JK to Grade 1 students will do our age appropriate Apprentice Engineer project stream where the emphasis is on building and exploring simple machines

 

(In-person) Game Coding: Grades 2-5, 6-8
Design and Programming: In this club video games of various types are created using a laddered curriculum. Starting at the Beginner levels students are introduce to game design thinking using an drag and drop programming approach that makes it familiar and interesting. The full program bottoms out at the master or advance level where our game designers create games using scripting and are introduced to the some of the challenges that programmers generally face. The Levels are Beginners(Skill base games) 1,11,111; Intermediate( Maze, Platforms), Master ( Advanced techniques, +Scripting, 3D)
